      Laura Stasiulytė

Laura Stasiulyte currently lives and works in Vilnius. She studied Photography and Media Arts at Vilnius Academy of Arts as well as Institut D´Art Visuels Orleane in France, and has participated in a number of workshops and internships at such institutions as IASPIS, Stockholm (S); Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin (DE);  KulturKontakt Gastatelier, Vienna (A), Norwich Arts Centre, Norwich (UK), among others.  From 2010 she has been teaching at the Photography and Media Art Department of the Vilnius Academy of Arts.

The artist’s works have been showcased at the Contemporary Art Centre; National Gallery of Art and MO Museum in Vilnius, Project Space Montos Tattoo, Lithuania, and abroad at Manifesta 4, European Biennial of Contemporary Art, Frankfurt/Main (DE); KIASMA Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki (FI); Kunstmuseum Thun, Thun (CH); Kumu, Art Museum of Estonia, Tallinn, (EE); Museum for Contemporary Art (gfzk), Leipcig (DE); 54th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Oberhausen (DE); Frankfurter Kunstverein, Frankfurt (DE), Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato (IT), Rauma Biennale Balticum, Rauma (FIN), Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff (UK) as well as at other venues and institutions.
